Muscle Men

We got caught in a sudden down pour at the park and ran home...but we got soaked.  The boys took off their shirts to change but decided they looked like muscle men.....check out these "muscle men"  Gabe's face cracks me up!

Tale of the tape....

Cooper loves new foods...the doctor said it was ok for eggs and Mr Cooper loved them (just like his brothers)  we will be adding egg laying chickens to our list of poaching items.

So on to the stats.....Cooper's 9 month appointment was great.  No shots (much to Nathan's relief he didn't want his baby brother to cry)  Head and development right on track.  He is 17.3 pounds (12th percentile and 2.1 pound gain) and 25 1/2 inches (still below zero :( but he grew an inch)  so he is still the amazing tiny baby that can stand unsupported and soon to be the amazing tiny baby that can walk......i think people think we are lying when we tell them how old he is.....one lady asked me if he was a little person.

Fire Flies

Nathan loves catching fire flies....so he wanted to teach Gabe to.....it was great fun until the boys noticed something else hunting fire flies...the bats.

Hanging in our Robes

I could look at these pictures for hours to see all the funny things each boy is doing in the pictures....Watching Cooper's hand, their facial expressions, and the love for each other ( well until someone touches someone else or their possessions and then it is every Seidel boy for himself)

Stuffed Raccoon

Title of the post catch your attention?  Well being a hunter's wife I excpect weird things in my house.  Many months and posts ago you might remember a picture of the pheasant Mark shot while hunting (followed by Nathan hunting the duck decoy in our backyard).  Mark got to pick it up last weekend.  Well Nathan wanted to go, his enthusiasm and knowledge of all thing animals melted the taxidermist's heart.......he presented Nathan with a tanned raccoon pelt......my kids have always received gifts from strangers who are enthralled by their cuteness or rambunctious spirit....this one takes the cake.

Look what I found

While at the park the boys made a great find....a baby toad.  We carried him in a cup back to the house (the longest walk of my life).  We convinced Nathan to let him go because he hoped that the toad was a girl and would have lots of baby toads for us......joys of being a boy mamma.
We let him go and I thought we would never see him again....next night Gabe found him and brought him to me......insert screams here

T-ball friends

Cooper likes to ride....

Cooper loves to watch the boys play outside, if I am working at the kitchen counter he will stand at the sliding door and watch them aching to be outside playing with them....he got some practice for the future bike races in his new yard sale find (the nice couple wouldn't take money when they saw Cooper needed a car like his brothers)  While he played the big brothers had a nice ice cream cone that daddy bought...they said it wasn't as good as the ice cream I made, bless their lying little hearts.

Medium Baby

Gabe fights for his attention at times sometime in the bad way but most times it is in the cute way...here is his impression of himself as a baby

Strawberry Ice Cream

After picking the strawberries we tried our hand at making strawberry ice cream...the boys were hesitant at first but once they tried it they liked it....this weekend we are trying blueberries...

Chowing down..

The tears from the squirt gun incident quickly went away  when Cooper got to eat some of Mark's pot roast with carrots and potatoes....

Crying....

Ok Aunt Natalie asked for them!  Nathan shot mommy and Cooper with a squirt gun.  Cooper got it right in the side of the head and was not to happy......he has a cute crying face though...

Strawberry Picking

Sunday I took the big boys to pick strawberries and the boys had a blast and did awesome.  They are the sweetest strawberries I ever ate!  We are going to try to make strawberry ice cream tonight....we will see how that comes out.
