Mud Puddle

I hate the mud puddle in the back yard I have been begging Mark to fill it for years....now the boys use it as their play area every time it rains.....what you can't see is that they took off their shirts, shoes and socks and stuffed them in the puddle.  You can kind of see it under the lawn mower as Gabe runs it over.  I was able to get all of the mud out (heck if I can deer blood out of Mark's clothes mud is no problem)  The play time ended when Nathan dumped a bucket of mud water over Gabe.  He freaked, but the good mom I am I had to get a picture!  Thankfully Cooper was sleeping...or he would have been covered too.  So the boys got a bath and a cup of hot chocolate....

Train Party

For Gabe's birthday we had an extra treat Nathan's best friend from Kindergarten and t-ball has the same birthday as Gabe. So his wonderful family invited us to Josh's special birthday. They reserved the Kempton train caboose for two runs so we got to ride the for 2 hours.  I never got a picture of the birthday boy but I got some good ones....

Cooper loved looking out the window...I was terrified everytime he went near the window...

Gabe is my train nut, he wants to be a train man (his words) here he is sitting up in the loft section with Josh's little sister Katie....they are the same age and love hanging together...

I know this is a cliche shot...but when the train switched to the front of the train I got a shot (I did it far enough away so the train wouldn't smack me)

Cooper waving at the train as it goes by....

Love this one of Nathan in the loft...he fell getting down...Josh's dad saved him by the seat of his pants...

The boys watching the train go by....the birthday boy's is next to Nathan's head....all you can see is his hat....

Best shot!  (wish Cooper was looking at the camera...but we all know our camera dilemma's with three boys)

Being sweet....

Gabe at 4

I am very behind in this post, actually most of my posts.  Work has been long and hard lately, the life of an accountant during closing I suppose.  Between long hours at work and taking care of the boys while a certain husband hunts has worn me out.  Throw in some trips to the doctor for Nathan for strep throat and the eraser in the ear blogging fell behind.

But what can I say about my middle child.  Well according to the doctor Gabe is the typical middle child.  Jealous of his baby brother.  I grimace when someone looks at Cooper and comments how cute he is....it will only end badly.

But he loves us, he loves being alone with us.  His most favorite thing is to be with us. He loves it so much that he didn't care about getting a flu shot because he got to be with me all day.  But I paid for that one....when Nathan found out he cried for a half an hour.....

Fall Daycare Photos....

Check out the handsome little men!  Fall daycare pictures came out this week....and they came out great.  The one of them together is so cute!  You would never know they were arch enemies for my love!  Although I caught them playing ring around the rosie and they were both laughing and having fun so I know they will be great brothers.....someday.  I put Cooper's class picture on so you can see how big he is...the little blonde girl with the sad face is 8 days older than he is...the little girl with the happy face and his size was born in January.....while he is small he is a little spit fire full of energy.  The daycare vistors are still amazed how the tiny baby that can stand....they just haven't seen him walk or jabber on with his baby talk.  We decided to let people think he is 6 months old.  When they ask what is wrong with him because he is so small we will just tell them he is a very advanced 6 month old and will be graduating from Havard when he is 6!  As for the blonde child who is my baby Matt Damon (per his uncle Sean), we still get the questions where did he come from....and we will still stick with the answer that Mark came up with....he looks like his dad!  I love the look of confusion/horror on people's face. Gabe looks just like Nate only blonde and blue eyed!
Nathan's school picture will follow.....

13 Months....

So Mr Cooper is now 13 months old.  He has been getting into devilish trouble lately (just like two other little boys I know)

His new favorite pastime is climbing on things....Retro Rocket is a real favorite since it also rolls....

He looks like he is ready to learn skateboarding...

You can't see it but in this picture they are standing on a Sponge Bob chair...it got put away after a few nasty falls....next up, Gabe's favorite tractor trailer....

he is so proud of himself!

He clapps every time he makes it up.....

Nathan is always nearby to catch him.....I see a repeat of my times (yes multiple times) in the ER with stiches and x-rays, but now the seasoned mother of three crazy little boys I will know where to go.....heck our insurance probably paid for one of the rooms in the Reading Hospital pediatric ER.....he followed me half way up the steps the other day so the gate has made its way out of the attic.

But my sweet little Cooper is still a momma's boy and never far from me....although he can chase me down a lot faster than when he crawled after me.....4 months of walking has turned him into a speed demon.

Apple and Raspberry Picking

We headed over to the Ontelaunee Orchards for some apple and raspberry picking.  The boys were uspet the pumpkins weren't ready yet.... but the boys found some big juicy apples and we are still eating them!  The boys had even more fun picking raspberries.  It is good that they don't weigh you before you pick and then after to determine how much you owe for your "samples".  Cooper would have cost us $100+!!!!!!  We couldn't keep the tray on the stroller full he was eating so fast.  If they had even looked at Cooper's face they would have seen it covered in juice....Mark said he wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face if they asked if he had eaten any!

Mohawks

Since some of the boys at daycare and school have mohawks, Nathan has been bugging me to get his hair cut that way (isn't happening)  so we compromise and make shampoo mohawks!

Kick Ball

Nathan's new passion is kickball.  I found a 4 pack at Toys R Us (or as Gabe calls it Toys B Us)  we head out most nights to find a playground to to play on....Cooper was having fun running around chasing the balls.  What would the chances be that one of the boys would kick a ball and hit him in the head and knock him down....not good but Nathan pegged him and he went down...only a few tears and some dirt on his head and then he was off again....

Warm and Fuzzy PJs

I am glad it is getting cold....I can wear my fuzzy warm pjs like the boys.....
