Ice Cream Dreams......

 We needed to head over to Target to buy Cooper's birthday present....on the way back we decided to stop at Dairy Queen....On looks alone I could deny Gabe as my own.....but his love of ice cream would be evidence to the contrary.....

 Cooper was not impressed with his first taste of ice cream.....we will bring him over to the Dark Side!!!

 

When Gabe eats ice cream a good amount end up on his face, clothes and hands......

11 Months

Well 11 months have just gone by in a flash.  Cooper is walking all over and getting in so much naughty trouble.  He loves food and will eat anything you give him (or that he can steal).  He has 6 teeth and number 7 is working it way thru.  He is still a mommy baby and gets jealous when the big boys are hanging with mommy.  He is less and less interested in his toys, instead loving the big boy toys (thus the naughty issues)  He is still a tiny little thing wearing 3-6 month clothes with 6 month pants being cuffed, but it is only one cuff now instead of 2-3.  As you can see from above he has the chubbiest little thighs....which we call his little thunder thighs, to which Gabe replies  you want thunder I will give you thunder (he watches to much of the Cars movie)...his big 1 year birthday bash will be here soon....Mini Coopers will abound that day!

Nathan's Birthday Party

For his 6th birthday, Nathan wanted a shark themed birthday.

Since Mark had to work during the day my mom and sister came down early.  With the little boys sleeping Nathan decided to give Arowyn driving lessons in the jeep...

It appears she has her mommy's driving habits and Nathan had to steer away from the fence a few times...

Nathan Thru The Years

It seems like yesterday, but it is now 6 years that Nathan arrived in this world.  We thought he would never arrive being 11 days late, but he was on his own schedule.  He was also on his own path, facing the wrong way and not wanting to come out. He scared us that day as his little heart slowed, and we never knew before that day the fear and pain of worry for his life.   He asks often about that day, and still sweetly believes the reason the doctor cut him out of my belly was because a shark was in the water with him....that is how he got the birth mark on his backside, the shark was biting him.  If you look closely at the picture of him at age one you can see Cooper's face (my twins 5 years apart).

Birthday Photos....

Every birthday we head over to Portriat Innovations for one of the boy's pictures.  Normally I just take the birthday boy but this year I took all three.  I really wanted a beautiful picture of all three.  The photographer got some beautiful shots of each boy individually.....the group was a lot harder, but the very first picture ended up being the best one of all three.  Pictures of Nathan's huge age 6 birthday blowout to follow.......
