Trains, Planes, and Automobiles

As the mom of three boys I am used to not having tea parties or playing doll houses....but I never thought I would become a master train track builder.....Nanny bought Gabe a train for his birthday and we decided to put it together.  I think my mom forgot I have an accounting degree and not an engineering degree.  The boys all loved the trains and Cooper even left it run the track and didn't take it off (much).

The Buck

Mark got his buck this year on the first day of firearms....to those who don't know that is a whole archery season (almost 2 months) of me being mom and dad after work.

The boys were excited to see the buck and weren't freaked out at all. Cooper had fun with his grandpa and  Gabe just liked jumping in the freshly raked leaves.....

The gate is back

Since a certain little crazy boy wouldn't stay off the steps the dreaded gate made it's appreance!

Warm Weather

We were enjoying the warm weather....it is missed now that it is freezing!

Christmas Pictures

I have long ago given up getting Christmas pictures at Portriat Innovations, their overbooking plus my insane kids and everyone else cranky kids makes it a trial.  So I take my own each year.  First I tired individual ones (group ones are a difficulty with us)  I got some very nice ones and some silly ones.  But I had success with a group photo this year....that very quickly deteriorated into the last picture. I love the look on Gabe's face.

Thanksgiving

We always start the Thanksgiving weekend with a homemade dinner on Wednesday at our house.  The boys enjoyed all of the good food.....especially Cooper!  He loves my mashed potatoes!

Jeep

Cooper has wanted to ride in the Jeep for awhile....I thought he was big enough to ride with the Duke Boys (Mark has been bugging the boys for years to go as Bo and Luke Duke for Halloween-they look at him like what in the world are you talking abou) He had fun but never lost the concerned look as he barrelled around the yard.  i would have used the picture of the three of them in the Jeep for the Christmas card but Cooper wouldn't even crack a smile.
